Description: Some of Washington’s beach towns are just over an hour drive from the studio so I’ve been taking a little advantage of my proximity lately. Warm sand, deep blues, and overcast mornings sooth me. The quintessential detail though? The dried salt coating boats, rocks, and piers—the light blue ‘crust’ on this chrysacholla is uncanny.
