Description: I have to remind myself that, despite being the crowd pleasers, I don’t always have to work with purples and blues. As an artist, it's important to make work that speaks to you—work that reinvigorates your practice. Making this khaki, desert-toned sculpture felt like a welcome gust of arid wind.

Hot-sculpted, cut, ground, laminated, carved, and polished. With love.
