Materials: Malachite, azurite, and cast glass

Description: The beaches here along the Puget Sound are covered in colorful varieties of minerals—granted, probably not this kind—but the glass texture and the stone’s range of color strikes me as an abstracted version of the rocky shores and marine life just blocks from the studio.
