Materials: Polish flint and cast glass

Description: Polish flint is a sedimentary rock composed with layers of microscopic quartz particles, metal oxides, sometimes chalcedony, and more; geologists believe it formed from silica that precipitated in seawater. Working with this stone is a little meta when I think about how, millennia ago, humans used it to make tools for survival.

Cast, cut, ground, and polished. With love.
