If you’re not impressed with what nature has done to this stone, you need new eyes. Apatite is a magnificently luscious material to work with—combined with aqua bullseye glass? Unrivaled decadence. It always reminds me of the stone insets on Tut’s sarcophagus (I know, those are lapis;) or the waters just off the coast in Waikiki.
