Materials: Cast opaline glass and sandstone.

Description: I just came here for this. Opaline glass. Its in the same category as mirrors and temperature regulating termite mounds and alchemy—all freaking magical and entrancing. Looking at opaline glass feels like staring into a glowing ocean or a cup packed with burning stars. I don’t know how to explain it, but it’s frozen smoke and a sigh on pause. How can we hold impermanence? Opaline.

Cast, cut, ground, laminated, carved, and polished. With love.
