Description: Choosing the first stone to use from this year’s Tucson haul wasn’t an easy decision, but the electricity of this piece of boulder opal was too tempting for me to save for later. There’s a black light glowing inside the matrix, one so bright it’s seeping through rock.

Cast, cut, ground, and polished. With love.
